This menu allows the user to view and edit information about hospitals. It performs identically to the "Hospital Information" Action Button.
By either clicking New or selecting an existing Hospital and clicking Edit, you will bring up the Hospital Information Screen.
Multiple phone numbers, with labels to differentiate them, can be added using the plus button to the right of the phone number field. An already existing airport can be attached to the entry using the airport button, or a latitude and longitude can be entered manually.
Video URL is for a video feed link to the agency or hospital.
Email and Fax are used for sending documents either from the patient ticket or request ticket. Selecting the radio button either to Email or Fax will be default communication method.
Documents and photos can be uploaded by the user and viewed by any user who selects the agency's entry.
Notes entered will appear as a Notes button next to the agency/hospital when selected.
Pick Up/Drop Off Locations
Hospitals and Agencies can list one or more drop off/pick up locations for each asset type. Here you can define where at a location you want the Asset to Pick Up or Drop Off whatever you are transporting for any request per Asset type, and if there is more than one Drop Off/Pick Up point at a location, you can define which one will be the default location for each type of Asset. You can also define a location as an overall Default location. When an asset is assigned to a request it will automatically change the Pick up and Drop Off locations to the appropriate default based on the asset type. This screen can also be used to indicate if Pick Up/Drop Off locations are designated as available night locations.
Doctors can be added using the Edit Doctors button. Each doctor can have contact information entered as well. Depending on how configured doctor's may be able to be added as free text in the transfer center dialog.
(NOTE: What the user selects in the Hospital Capabilities window is used by Flight Vector during "Search Closest" as a filter to locate the nearest Hospital with the required capabilities for the request. It is important that the capabilities be accurately recorded or else the hospital will not appear correctly during searches. Possible capabilities can be set by an administrator.)
Receiver Regions may be added to hospitals. This feature will auto populate request receivers if they meet the criteria of the receiver region set up. The set up will include defined Call Types (the conditions will be based on a user defined SQL statement), as well as a shape file uploaded by the user. This feature can be accessed through the Edit > Hospitals dialog using the Receiver Region button. Clicking the button will bring up an Edit Receiver Regions dialog.
Clicking the green plus button will open an expression editor that will allow a user to enter a SQL statement/rule for their desired call type expression.
Once the SQL rule is complete, a user can then double click the receiver region that was just created to select a shape (kml) file to be used for that hospital/rule combination. Select the kml file from the file explorer. From there, users may choose shapes that will apply to that hospital for SQL expression entered. After selecting the desired shapes, selecting OK will set the desired shape to be used for the Receiver Region.
After setup is complete, anytime a pickup location meets the criteria of the SQL rule AND is within the chosen shape, the receiver for that request will be auto-populated in the request.
Once the SQL rule for a receiver region is created it is available for all hospitals. The user can then individually select shapes for each individual hospital. To delete a chosen shape for a specific hospital, the user can highlight the receiver region and click the red x on the Edit Receivers Dialog. To delete the entire SQL rule, the user can right click the region and click Delete Rule. The same is true for editing shapes and rules.
(NOTE: Deleting and Editing Rules will delete and edit the rule for all hospitals. Shapes that are edited and deleted only apply to the current hospital.)
