Capabilities (Hospitals)

There is a way to add capabilities to hospitals. Some examples would be trauma level, hyperbaric chamber, cath labs, etc… This will allow you to search for nearby hospitals based on capabilities.

Instructions

1. First you must add the capabilities available for hospitals. Go to Settings → Hospital Capability.

a. From here you can add as many capabilities as you want. Simple click on the green plus button.

2. After adding hospital capabilities then you need to assign them to hospitals. Go to Settings → Hospitals, select the hospital you want to add capabilities to and then check mark the appropriate capabilities.

3. Applying the capabilities in practice, you will find in the ‘Search’ field. Click on search within the request or from the request ticket. Select hospitals in the ‘Search Closest’ section and select the appropriate capabilities towards the bottom.
