Airports are a type of location, these are provided for you by Flight Vector. However, you may want to add/edit/delete them. In order to access them and modify them, see the below guide.
*Note: some of these options are new in 6.9.0.0, if you don’t see the options you are looking for, check your version.
Instructions
1. Go to Settings → Airports… you will see that there are a few options for Airports in settings. Below are what each of these will do.
a. Airports - These are for the locations to add/edit/delete airports in your CAD.
b. Airport Capabilities - Allows you to set and define the different capabilities that airports have in your CAD.
c. Airport Transportation Capabilities - Allows you to define the transportation capabilities of your airports.
d. Airport Services - Allows you to define the services provided by your airports.
2. When adding a new airport, you will have the following options of data points to enter. Most of this is pretty straight forward, however, a few items are unique and listed below. New to 6.9.0.0 are the tabs at the bottom, see below for more information.
a. FBO - You can list any and all FBOs associated with airports.
b. Accommodations - Any accommodations that are available and used by your organization for a particular airport will be added here.
c. Transportation - Any transportation services that your organization may utilize at an airport will be listed here.
d. Other Contacts - These are any other contacts associated with an airport that are not covered in the basic airport information that is available.
