Sky Connect and Messages from Assets

Tips!

• Your settings in the account are not what you use to log into skyconnect with. They are a specific username/pw for the API with FlightVector

• If the aircraft is not owned by your company - make sure SkyConnect is sharing the feed with the account that is in your FlightVector Settings.

• You can set up logging for Skyconnect issues using the Settings → Other Button

• To set up logging for skyconnect in the logfiles
  SettingName: SkyConnectLogData 
  Value =1

• Tracker ID is usually the N Number of the asset (N123..)

Messages from Assets 

 

WMM = World Magnetic Model, or how much magnetic deviation there is. To correct it an updated file needs downloaded to the aircraft which generally is performed by the maintenance team.
