The steps below are a guide for accessing and running canned (prebuilt) reports in Flight Vector CAD. Depending on settings in the CAD you will need permissions to allow reporting. If you do not currently have those permissions, please reach out to your system administrator.
Instructions:
Accessing Reports
- On the menu bar, select Reports> By Date
- In the report center, leave the Database field as ‘Current Database’ unless otherwise instructed
by your local administrator. - Available reports are listed in the ‘Report:’ dropdown.
- Canned, or preconfigured, reports are listed at the top
- Custom reports created by users will be listed alphabetically after the canned reports.
Running Reports
- Select the desired report from the ‘Report:’ dropdown.
- Select a date range:
- Quick date ranges are selectable from the dropdown with a default value of ‘Current Year'
- Select options as needed from the dropdown to set the appropriate range.
- Custom date ranges can be set using the date selectors as well.
- Quick date ranges are selectable from the dropdown with a default value of ‘Current Year'
- Date Type:
- Date Created – Date/Time request created
- Date of Service – Date/Time of first departure
Report Options:
- Settings: Select filters for asset type / patient names
- Preview: Quick PDF view of report
- Save as PDF: Save report in PDF format
- Print: Print report in PDF format
- Save as CSV: Save report in CSV (Comma Separated Value) format for analysis in Print: Print report in PDF format programs such as Microsoft Excel
- Email: Email PDF of report directly from Flight Vector CAD
- Send to Outlook: Use for report distribution using Outlook
- Automate: Report automation in PDF format. These reports will generate and distribute automatically based on the chosen settings in the Automation Dialog.

- Select OK to close the Report Center
This is a summary of the available canned reports and what they contain
- Request Summary: Displays a summary report of requests over a selected period of time.
- Request Summary - Completed Request: Shows a summary of completed requests over a selected period of time.
- Request Summary – Run Reports: Generates a report of run reports over a selected period of time.
- Request Summary – Requests Not Completed: Provides a report on incomplete requests over a selected period of time.
- Request Change Log: A report that shows changes made to requests in the CAD systems. This data is available over a user selected period of time.
- Closed Request Change Log: Shows information changed once a request is closed.
- Request Complete by Flight Category for Assets: Data that shows requests by flight categories by asset.
- Request Complete by Flight Category for Bases: Data that shows requests by flight category for bases.
- Request Complete Summary Table By Asset: Completed requests summarized by asset.
- Request Complete Summary Table By Base: Completed requests summarized by bases.
- Request Cancelled By Reason for Assets: Data on cancelled requests sorted by assets.
- Request Cancelled By Reason for Bases: Data on cancelled requests sorted by bases.
- Request Aborted by Reason for Assets: Data on aborted requests sorted by assets.
- Request Aborted by Reason for Bases: Data on aborted requests sorted by base.
- Request Missed By Reason for Assets: Data on missed requests by assets.
- Request Missed By Reason for Bases: Data on missed requests by bases.
- AAMS Report for Rotary Wing: Compiles data to complete an AAMS report for Rotor.
- AAMS Report for Fixed Wing: Compiles data to complete an AAMS report for Fixed Wing.
- AAMS Report for Ground: Compiles data to complete an AAMS report for Ground transport methods.
- Fixed Wing Summary: Summary report of Fixed Wing Requests
- Rotor Wing Summary: Summary report of Rotary wing requests
- Response Times: Displays a series of times included in flight requests.
- Incomplete Trips: Shows a list of trips not completed over a selected timeframe.
- Billing: Billing report for customers whom contract with Flight Vector to pay for the CAD by completed request.
- Crew App Billing: Billing report for customers who use the Flight Vector Crew Application.
- OOS - Conditional Status Log: Compiles out of service events and times for conditional status and OOS over a selected period.
- Out of Service Log: Compiles out of service events and times over a selected period.
- Out of Service Change Log: Compiles out of service events an times with the user associated over a selected period
- Conditional Status Log: Compiles out of service events and times for conditional status over a selected period.
- Pilot Duty Summary: Provides a summary of pilot duty times
- Sent Pages Log Succeeded: Provides a list of the pages/messages successfully sent from the CAD system.
- Sent Pages Log Failed: Pages that don’t successfully leave the CAD server.
- Received Pages Log: Shows all incoming messages received by the CAD server.
- Timeline: Creates a visual timeline of activities by asset over a defined period of time
- Quality Management Issues: A report for QMI’s entered in the CAD system.
- Fleet Status: Displays the current status of assets entered in the CAD System
- Staffing Report: Displays the current staffing of assets
- AO21 Report: Presents data for those who need to report on AO21 information.
- Scheduled Requests: Display future scheduled requests
- Trip Summary Report: Summary report of requests to include Company ID
