Inside each location is an address that includes city, state, county, zip code, and country. You can add these if they don’t exists. However, you need to be mindful of the hierarchical order. The order is below.
Each zip code belongs to a city, each city belongs to a county, each county belongs to a state, and each state belongs to a country. Each country can have a different set of options; this is based on their addressing schemes.

Instructions
1. Go to Settings → Place Names. Notice the hierarchical order that appears
2. If you want to add a country, then highlight where it says ‘United States’ and click delete. Then you will see the below image. When you click the green add button it will add a country.
a. When you click the green add button you will notice the dialog will let you know you are adding a new country.
3. If you want to add a new state, make sure you first select what country that state will be associated with. For example, if you want to add a new state to the United States you will select ‘United States’ in your country field.
a. Notice that the top will show you that you are ‘Editing States/Provinces belong to US - United States’
b. Below that you will see when you click on the green add button that you can add the ‘Name’ and Abbreviation’ for the state you are adding.
** Note** that each country you select can have a different set of fields that show up ** Canada for example has the Province and City only options.
4. Adding a new county will require you to select the country and state as shown below.
5. Adding a new city will require the country, state, and county to be selected as shown below.
6. Adding a new zip code will require the country, state, county, and city to be selected as shown below.
** Remember to pay attention to the headers and titles to make sure that you are adding the new data in the appropriate places. If they are not added accurately, say a city is added where a county should be, then the city will not show up as you need it to. **
