Time Zone - If time zones are utilized, time zones can be set for bases. Any assets assigned to the base will reflect the time zone associated with the base. This will automatically set the default time zone for any requests that the asset is assigned to. If a time zone is not set, the time zone will remain on the server time. All times in the user interface will be displayed in the set time zone, but times in the history will record in server time. To set a time zone for a patient or escort or change the default time zone for a given request the user can set this in either the patient/escort right-click menu or the request right-click menu.
Map Icon - This will display an image on FVMap for the specified base.
Crew Change Times are set using a 24-hour clock image and can be different for the pilot and medical crews based on the buttons to the left of the clock. When it is time for a base shift change, a window will pop up and alert the user. If audio alerts are enabled, audio alerts will accompany the visual ones. NOTE: any base shift change times will be reflected on the edit asset screen when applied within the base info screen.
Landing Location - The location set here will be the Home Base for all associated assets and will be the default return to base landing location. The Home Base will appear in the Insert Waypoint dialog when setting an asset position.
Out of Service Information - It is important to note that OOS events set here are ONLY associated with bases and not assets. Reasons for Base OOS are set by the administrator. If a base is set to out of service, the user will be prompted to override base out of service.
NOTE: Because Assets are tied to Bases, you must create at least one Base entry.
