In FVCAD, starting in version 6.9.0.0, we have added settings around ETAs given to facilities. See the information below for more information and guidance on these settings.
Instructions
- Go to Settings → ETA Given to Facility, and you will see the following two settings.
- ETA Given to Facility Allowed Earliness (minutes)
- ETA Given to Facility Allowed Lateness (minutes)
- When turned on, this means that a value is entered for the minutes, there will be a field in the middle of the waypoint screen. The field will be labeled ‘ETA Given to Patient Facility'. See the screen below for an example.
- If the calculated arrival time falls outside of the acceptable range of the time set, the system will provide an alert that the ETA has changed. Right-clicking on the alert will prompt the user to dismiss, dismiss with notes or open the waypoint editor so the time can be updated if a new ETA is provided to the facility.

- You can also add these fields to the intake screen. Access this by going to Settings → Call Intake Fields.
- Columns may also be added to ‘Status Boards’ that are type ‘Request’, to display the times. In the status board column drop down, they are labeled “ETA Given to Pick-Up Facility” and “ETA Given to Drop-Off Facility”, see the image below for an example
