In FlightVector, you can have many different layouts. Inside each layout you can have different filters as well.
Instructions
In order to add a new layout you need to have the appropriate permissions. If you do not have the permission contact the CAD Administrator inside your organization.
-
- View -> New Window -> New (This will open a new window in which you will be creating your new layout).
- When you open the new window press ctrl + right-click and you will see options for setting up your layout. The options given for each location (above, below, left, right) are the same as shown in the image below. You will see other options, you can add tabs, replace what is there now, apply filters (create these in Settings -> Edit Display Filters).
- For an example, we will be adding 2 tabs for requests. One tab will have requests that do not have assets assigned and the other will be requests that have an asset assigned. We will walk through each step, the last will be to add the filters so that the tabs only show assigned or unassigned requests.
- First you need to make sure that you have a request section displaying on the layout. After, CTRL+ right-click in the requests section and select Add tab...-> Requests. This will add a tab in the requests section.
- Notice you now have two tabs for requests
- To name the tabs, right-click where it says 'Unnamed tab' and select 'Rename to...' then rename the tab. Do this for both tabs.
