This will bring up the asset information window, which allows the user to view and edit information about the asset, its crew, and its equipment.

Indicates the location the asset is linked to.
If time zones are involved, the asset will use the associated base time zone for any assigned requests.

Tracker Service fields allow Flight Vector to receive and use satellite tracking data for the asset. The Base Info and Usage Info buttons are discussed here.

| Crew |
Crew members can be assigned individually or as a group;
These Must be set up by an administrator outside of the asset information screen to be available for assignment.
Administrators or users with permission define crew allowed roles in the Crew Information dialog.
Observer crew types allow for free text entry of a name for a non-crew member. |
| Pending Crew |
If the asset is currently out on a request and the new crew logs in through the portal, they will be placed in a holding queue until the request is complete and then will be active.
The last name of the crew member will appear in parentheses on the asset list and be displayed under the Pending section when opening the asset from the asset list.
Crew members can be added manually to the Pending crew in the asset information dialogue. |
| Cached Crew |
NOTE: Restoring will move the crew back to the crew fields. Uncaching will remove them from the asset dialog. |
| Teams | May be added to the asset dialog by selecting the desired team from the drop-down and clicking the green plus button. To delete a team from an asset, highlight the desired team and click the red x button. Once assigned to an asset, the crew will be assigned to a request along with the asset. |
| Pager Groups |
In order to assign a pager group to a certain group for the asset, it must be created first by an administrator outside the asset information screen.
Pages are sent to these groups by right-clicking on the asset or setting up automatic pages in Pager Settings. |
| Restrict Call Types To |
Specifying restrictions will cause that asset to show as disallowed in the search 'closest' results. |
| Notes |
This allows one user to alert other users to restrictions or other important information concerning an asset. |
| Base Info |
Button allows the user to edit the base to which the asset is assigned.
The base is used to set the final waypoint for an asset after a request, as well as to set waypoints that are defined as the asset's base, such as when the asset is told to abort and return to base.

Will make requests reflect times in the time zone of the assigned asset base.

| Crew Change Times |
When it is time for a base shift change, a window will pop up and alert the user. If audio alerts are enabled, audio alerts will accompany the visual ones.
NOTE: Any base shift change times will be reflected on the edit asset screen when applied within the base info screen. |
| Landing Location | Which will be referred to as Base or Home Base, is where the asset will depart and arrive from when at base. |
| Map Icon | Will set the base's icon on FVMap to the uploaded image. |
| Out of Service Information |
It is important to note that there is a difference between placing a base out of service (OOS) and an asset OOS.
A base may be out of service, but associated assets are still in service.
If a base is OOS and an associated asset is assigned to a request, the user will have to override the base OOS by checking the override box.
The base will remain OOS until placed back in service. |
