There are times where you want alerts to be associated with a location. For agencies that could be anything from construction to what location to land instead of a helipad. Below will walk you through step by step how to add these.
Instructions
There are a few ways to add alerts to an agency, we will go through both:
1. The first way to add an alert to an agency is from the alerts section inside that hospital
a. First you will click the green plus button in the alerts section of the agency
b. Next you will add the alert notification in the window that pops up.
Note: Make sure you take special notice of the ‘Time Range’ this is when the alert starts and ends. You can mark the location ‘Unavailable’ during the time period, then you will need to also add a message as to what the alert is and what you want people to know.
2. The second way is to add the alert straight from the alerts section by clicking on the below icon:
a. From here you will see this screen. Take note that this is the alerts section for all location types. You can filter them by name and location.
b. If you click the green plus sign you will see the same screen as in the agency section, with the addition of the location selection.
c. You will need to selection the location.
Note: If you see the above yellow triangle, there is an existing alert for this location. Clicking on the 'blue i" icon will allow you to edit the location if you have the proper permissions.
