The asset list provides the user with the ability to rapidly assess the current state of their fleet and staffing. Each asset uses a combination of icons, color coding, and text to provide the user valuable information at a glance. There are also a few different settings that apply to setting up an asset. Below are instructions on setting up your assets.
Some of these options are new in 6.9.0.0, if you don't see the options, you are looking for, check your version.
Instructions
Asset Setup
1. The first part of setting up an asset is making sure that you have an ‘Asset Model’ to assign it to. Start by going to Settings → Asset Models. Below you will see the fields required to create an asset model. *Note, you have to do this before you can create an asset.
a. Asset Model Types that are available are listed below.
i.Ambulance
ii. Car
iii. Fixed (fixed wing aircraft)
iv. Medical Bag

2. After you have your ‘Asset Models’ setup, you can create your ‘Assets’. You do this by going to Settings → Assets, from here fill in the fields appropriately. Below is an example, please note that this is just an example and due to custom settings, you may not see all of the same options as below.
3. ‘Call Signs’ are another part of assets that are important. ‘Call Signs’ are interchangeable between assets; you can change them along with the assigned base of an asset as your operational needs dictate. To create them, go to Settings → Call Signs/Pager Assignments. Below is an image that will you guide you through their creation.
