Standby Launch Status

When you assign an asset to a request, there is a status that goes along with that. The most common is launch, but you can also have launch as standby, and standby. Below explains standby.

 Instructions

1. Users may assign an asset with a disposition of standby to a request.  There are two ways to select an asset to assign as standby: search closest or dragging an asset onto the request. Once the asset has been selected, the user can select Standby as the disposition.
2. The request strip will display the standby color and the asset will show a disposition of standby:

4. When ready to launch the asset users may simply click the Launch button from the request ticket or right-click the ticket and select the asset from the Launch Standby Asset... sub menu.
5. Multiple Standby Assets

        a. Standby assets may be reassigned to other requests. Simply assign the asset as you normally                     would, and it will be removed from the standby asset list of the other request.
