The Alert Settings allows the administrator to set up alerts that will be triggered when certain actions do not meet time parameters. These alerts are global meaning that they will be applied to all instances.
For other types of triggers and notifications see Triggers. Alerts allow the administrator to ensure that all operations are happening in a timely manner and no delay is accidentally overlooked.
Minutes between Asset Alerts can be specified for Tracked Assets, Simulated Assets (assets with no tracking data), Competitor Assets. The value for each asset type is the number of minutes since the last position report was received. An example is if the asset has not made a position report in over two minutes the system will generate a notification to the user and be displayed on the appropriate request ticket and in the notification window. The notification will flash in red when triggered.
Generate Warning for Time Spent alerts specify how many minutes before an alert is generated for the specified event.
