Main Menu and Layouts

The main Flight Vector^TM CAD user interface screen is shown in the image below.

 

 

There are four (4) primary regions of the user interface.

1. The Menu
2. The Toolbar
3. The Windows
4. The Status Bar

The Menu 

The Menu Selection consists of eight (8) categories. The menu titles that appear are based on user permissions.

 

 

By Left-Clicking once on each of these Menu Items, a drop-down list appears with a variety of options.

File Menu

 

The File menu allows users to Log Off of Flight Vector, change their password, Launch the FV Map, or Exit the program.

Log Off 

This function allows users to sign out of the program without quitting it.  Users will be prompted to enter a new username and password, or the system will exit the program.

Change Password

This function allows users to change their password

Launch Map

This function allows users to launch the FVMap. 

Exit

This function will sign the user out of Flight Vector and close the program.

Edit Menu

 

Requests

This window allows the user to find closed requests. Past requests can be viewed, edited.

 

Filters

Users may use the date filter to narrow request search results.  Users may manually enter dates OR select a preset date range from the drop down provided (as seen below).

 

In addition, a list of filters will be available for users to choose from. Simply select a filter from the drop down (as seen below) and enter the information you would like to filter by.

 

 

Double clicking on the desired request will open the request.  If the request the user is looking for is not in the results list they may consider adding an additional filter OR selecting Load more results to see more results listed.

 

 

Quality Management Issues

This window allows the user to enter or edit quality management issues.
