**This is for patient's being moved from one hospital to another hospital and then back to the original hospital **
Step 1 Add New Patient via right clicking on the patient tab area vs opening new request.
Step 2 Fill in the Patient Request Sheet like a normal request
- Sending hospital with the floor, room number, doctor
- Receiving hospital with the floor, room number, doctor
- Name, DOB, MRN, Nature Code, DX/MX, Weight, Controlling MD
- Fill requestor box info
Step 3 Click Save and Continue and then click the "Ok"
Step 4 Your screen should look short of like the one below (note this is the training cad)
- Patient should be in a dark gray color
- Patient Intake screen look like this with all the information logged
Step 5 One ready to add the "Round Trip Part" follow these steps
- Proceed to the bottom of the request to the pick-up point box
- Right Click on the "Pick-up Point Info"
The small box will appear. Once that appears, click on the "Copy all TC#'s legs as returns"
Step 6 The patient intake screen should look like below with a Pickup at first hospital and drop off and second hospital and then back to first hospital
Step 7 Click "Save and Continue"
Step 8 When ready, make sure the Patient section tab is open and click the "Create Request Button"
Step 9 The Leg Chooser Box will pop up as shown below.
Step 10 Under the tap "Existing Request" check both "No" boxes and click ok and follow the new request screen process.
Step 11 The Request screen for the Round-Trip Request should like below in the Route Section or Flight Plan

Step 12 Process the request like a normal transport from start to end
When ready to send sheet to ER to be placed in EPIC, there will be two pages
- Send down on one paper not both to prevent being placed in EPCI twice
On first sheet in the "Times Area" you will see the hearts on Dep and Arr like a normal request
- On second sheet in the "Times Area" you will see hearts on the Dep and Arr but going back to the original sending hospital
- Close out request as Completed Full Mission and save to the base folder
